The 59th Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology, ACC.10 will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center. Keynote lectures will be given on the future of medicine and regenerative medicine; robotics, information technology and regenerative medicine in health care; and improved outcomes in coronary syndromes without excess bleeding. Fifteen joint international lunchtime symposia will be held, featuring leaders in the field of cardiology from around the world.
Educational programs will cover theories and practical skills and will address topics within the following “Learning Pathways:” Cardiac Arrhythmias; Cardiac Function and Heart Failure; Congenital Cardiology Solutions; General Cardiology: Hypertension, Prevention and Lipids; Imaging and Diagnostic Testing; Lifelong Learning; Myocardial Ischemia and Infarction; Quality of Care and Outcomes Assessment; Valvular Heart Disease; and Vascular Disease.
Innovation in Intervention: i2 Summit 2010 will be held concurrently with ACC.10 with educational events focused on interventional cardiology. Live cases broadcast from major medical centers in the United States and Germany will provide an in-depth look at complex coronary interventions, left main PCI, endovascular revascularization, and transcatheter valve replacement.
CME Credit
The Annual Scientific Session is designated for a maximum of 26 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Additional credits may be earned for participation in the i2 Summit. Full access registration includes access to both ACC.10 and the i2 Summit and is $660 for ACC members and $1,490 for nonmember physicians before March 10. After March 10, full access registration is $805 for ACC members and $1,610 for nonmember physicians. Registration for the ACC.10 only through March 10 is $440 for ACC members and $1,145 for nonmember physicians. Registration for ACC.10 after March 10 is $540 for ACC members and $1,240 for nonmembers.

The 68th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) will convene at the Miami Beach Convention Center for scientific sessions covering current research and recent advances in the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails.

Full- and half-day courses will be offered on topics including Volunteers Abroad; Intermediate Cosmetic Surgery; Infectious Diseases; Basic Dermoscopy; Basic Botulinum Toxin; Comprehensive Self-Assessment of Dermatopathology; Immunology; Sclerotherapy; The State of the Art of Aesthetic Dermatology; Internal Medicine; Dermatologic Syndromes; Skin Resurfacing and Rejuvenation; and Contact and Occupational Dermatitis.
Social Events
Colleagues will have the opportunity to meet at the Residents’ Reception, the Welcome Reception for Young Physicians and New Members, the International Member Reception, and the Volunteer Fair, each to be held at 5 p.m. on March 5, 2010 at Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
CME Credit
This meeting is designated for a maximum of 56 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Registration is $500 for AAD member physicians and $1,800 for nonmember physicians. Additional fees will be charged for some courses and programs.
