Tip of the Week

Call a Doctor

With all the conferences that physicians attend, it is not surprising that they get to meet other physicians from a wide variety of places. Networking, always a real draw at a convention, is a great way to meet doctors who have the same medical interests as you do, but it also a great way to unearth valuable dining and travel tips. The next time you travel, take out those business cards and see if you can reconnect with a colleague who may be able to give you the best information about their hometown. It’s a great excuse to call or e-mail, could reward you with a great new place to eat or visit and it can also aid you in your professional life as well. Just remember to return the favor the next time a doctor calls you!
